Charlotte Holton

Charlotte Holton chose to become a Gyrotonic® and Pilates instructor after years of practicing Pilates and yoga as a natural compliment to her work as a modern dancer. Originally from Winston-Salem, NC, Charlotte lived in New York and Chicago before returning to North Carolina. In both cities, she enjoyed working and studying with a wide range of teachers and exploring different movement opportunities. Charlotte has completed her training through the Pilates Certification Center (2005), as well as completing a full spectrum of Gyrotonic courses: GYROKINESIS® courses (2009), Gyrotonic Jumping Stretching Board(2009), Gyrotonic GYROTONER® (2009), Gyrotonic: Therapeutic Applications for the Shoulder Girdle(2009). She holds certificates in Gyrotonic Certificates for Level 1: GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® method, the Gyrokinesis method, Jumping-Stretching Board and Gyrotoner. Charlotte holds the belief that mindful movement is fundamental to living happily in our own bodies. Each client has a unique movement history and reason for pursuing movement training, and I enjoy working to find the best way to connect with each individual.
