Diandra Jones

Diandra began practicing Yoga as a teenager to prevent injuries during a rigorous 5-year international tour as a professional Irish Step Dancer. Inspired by Yoga's transformative effect on her high school students while teaching dance and physical education in Chicago Public Schools, she began to explore Yoga's metaphysical side and hasn't stopped since.

When I'm not teaching at Evolve, you can find me: 

Daytime: teaching English at Broughton High School.

Evenings & Weekends: teaching dance at Arts Together and Ninth Street Dance in Durham, playing music at home, or writing at a local coffee shop.

My morning routine is:

My morning routine is: Drink tea, eat oatmeal, ride my bike to school, do Yoga in the copy room while making copies before my students arrive.
