Mimi Escobar

2016 was a workout transition year for me. After running for 36 years for fun and fitness I had to find another passion due to a hip injury. I did months of Physical therapy and then added Pilates. I've been at Evolve since:

When I'm not teaching at Evolve, you can find me:

I am working at Trinity Wellness Center as a Physical Therapist. Outside of work and Pilates I love to walk, swim, paddle board, go to the beach, travel, and hang out with family and friends.

My favorite thing about teaching at Evolve is:

The close knit family of instructors that work as a team to help and encourage their clients as well as each other! I love to learn and at Evolve there is so many helpful seasoned teachers to learn and be inspired from.

My morning routine is:

Coffee and quiet time reading the Bible in my sunroom!

I'm inspired by:

My clients and patients when they get that "aha" moment of realizing what pilates and exercise can do for their fitness and or their pain. I am also inspired by the legacy my Mom left of always loving and caring for others with a warm smile and "doing" for others.

Best advice I've received:

Be genuine, be yourself, don't compare yourself to others, believe.

My favorite quote:

"Be silly. Be honest. Be kind. -Emerson
"Psalm 18:1 "I love you Lord, my strength."
