I've been at Evolve since:

When I'm not teaching at Evolve, you can find me:

When I'm not at Evolve you can find me hiking at Umstead, watching the sunrise, eating Locopops and drumming with my children at Pullen Park, teaching CEs to massage therapists at various schools across NC, watching Legend of Korra on the couch with my children, traveling nearby and exotic lands, volunteering at Stop-Hunger-Now or DigDeep Navajo Water Project, reading Pema Chödrön and Mark Nepo, daydreaming and writing poetry.

My favorite thing about teaching at Evolve is:

The collaboration of health enthusiasts from diverse modalities, the freedom for creative healers to share their original medicine and the radiant energy of the entire staff and the energy of the studio itself all makes for an inspiring place to spend my time.

My morning routine is:

6:17am wake, feed and walk with my 6th grader to the bus stop.

6:45 Pranayama, heart-based meditation.

7:15 nap.

8am wake, shower, drink tea, take herbs, feed my 1st grader and take her to school.

9am Sun salutations while listening to MC Yogi or Beats Antique.

9:30am meet the world and start the day :)

I'm inspired by:

Children; meditation; trees, the daytime sky, geology, astronomy, the nighttime sky, the mountains, the ocean; National Geographic photography; books by Thich Nhat Hanh, Pema Chödrön, Maya Tiwari, Mark Nepo, Paul Dugliss
